Seth Schapiro has been an educator for over 30 years, where he has helped children and adults make sense of themselves and the world around them. Recognizing the role that beliefs and values play in people's lives, he created a K-12 character development program that highlights principles from the lives of inspiring world figures. The WiseSkills program has been used by thousands of educators across the country and has helped a variety of schools and districts build cultures of character. He taught at a university in Phnom Penh where he worked with future Cambodian leaders and observed how Buddhist beliefs and perspectives impact people's daily lives. More recently, he has hosted Faith Matters conversations on a California public radio station(KSQD 90.7 FM), where he facilitated thoughtful discussions with diverse faith leaders. Faith Matters transitioned to Intersections in 2022.
