Abel Mkulama

Climate Change in the Developing World

Abel Mkulama has been addressing the areas of climate change and conservation ever since he was growing up in Malawi. He is a graduate of the Coastal Science and Policy program at the University of California at Santa Cruz, where he worked on projects to prevent deforestation. Abel discusses his projects supporting developing countries and the beliefs that undergird his work
About Abel Mkulama
Abel graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Natural Resources Management from Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources in Malawi. He has been recognized by a variety of organizations working to promote sustainable development around the world, including the Africa Wildlife Foundation, the Young African Leadership Initiative, Global Youth Biodiversity Network, and UNESCO. Abel is a Program Associate at the Center for Effective Global Action at the University of California at Berkeley where he works on sustainability and the challenges of climate change in the developing world.
